It appears to be easier to replace the the stock 44T ProMax Chainwheel with a 56 T one than replace the freewheel.  What crank puller would I need to accomplish this task? Please correct me if I'm wrong, before I do anything stupid.

I thing they are pretty standard as far as crank pullers go. You will not be able to use the chain guard any longer either.

Maybe the chain guard could be used with some modifications. Thanks for the input

I just installed a 52t and used the following from Amazon $7.99

Oumers Bike Crank Extractor and Bottom Bracket Remover with 16mm Spanner Wrench, Bicycle Crank Removal. I had planned on swapping it out sometime in the future, but then a 30mph wind gust knock by bike over and bent both, the chainring and derailleur. I replaced both. C498A3B7-E53F-4A85-9C98-A91209AD66F4.jpeg

Hey there fellow cruiser, It takes a crank puller that threads into the crank assembly and then you turn the blue handle to push the crank arms off the bottom bracket very cool tool!

Parktool cup-1 $15.99 - $29.99, Oumers $7.99 which is the one I used with no problems. I’m guessing Parktool makes good tools, but I didn’t have any luck with the first Parktool tool I bought. 0E4B3A4F-24AB-4A4B-A5A3-6494FD583498.jpeg  7A277700-0411-4B27-AD55-C8B2C2ABB00E.jpeg
